The best experts were getting passed over.
So two partners built the department they needed: one that makes the expert the recognized name in print and in AI search, then runs everything that turns recognition into booked work. And it owns its own press.
“When a patient asks AI who the best implant specialist in their city is, whose name comes out?”RANDY VAN ITTERSUM · PARTNER
Randy spent years in dental implant marketing, close enough to see who was spending what. The pattern kept repeating. A specialist with real credentials, the kind other dentists refer their hardest cases to, was losing patients to a competitor with far less training and a louder ad budget.
These weren't bad marketers hiring bad agencies. They were buying the only thing on offer: channel marketing. Ads, SEO, content, campaigns. All of it built to get in front of eyeballs. None of it built to answer the new question: when a patient asks AI who the best person in town is, whose name comes out?
That question has little to do with ads or rankings. The answer depends on whether AI can find the expert, trust what it finds, and see the same story told the same way across the sources it checks. So Randy built a system for exactly that. He called it the Authority Flywheel.
Richard brought the other half: more than 25 years in search and online marketing, and the hands to build the systems. Together they turned the Flywheel into a department. Then they added the one thing no agency has: a press of their own, so the story AI finds is a published feature, not an ad.
Two partners. No account managers.

Richard has spent 25+ years in search and online marketing. He also runs Market Share Media, which handles lead generation, SEO, Google Ads and WordPress sites for real estate, mortgage and attorney clients.
At SyTec he builds the AI systems and tools the desks run on, and keeps the search and ads work honest. He is also a co-author of SearchShift: Thriving Online, a book on how AI is changing search, available on Amazon.

Randy came from years in dental implant marketing, where he watched highly credentialed specialists get overlooked. He built the Authority Flywheel to fix that, one practice per market.
At SyTec he leads strategy and client growth. He's the partner you plan with, and the one you call. Randy is also a co-author of SearchShift: Thriving Online, available on Amazon.

Four rules we run on.
Being one of ten links isn't the goal. Being the name is.
Ads stop when billing stops. A published feature and a clean record keep working.
We can't make two competitors the name in the same town. So we don't try. It's in the contract.
A partner report every month: what shipped, what moved, what AI says about you now.
