TEXAS BBQ PIT MAKER
CLIENT UNNAMED UNTIL THEY SAY SO

A configurator store for a Texas pit maker.

A custom BBQ pit builder needed a real online home: a site that looks like the product, and a store that prices a build the way the shop does. Here's the brief, what we built, and how.

THE BRIEF

What we started with.

PROBLEM

A disconnected Wix site

The old site was offline, and the only images we could recover were display copies saved from the page, none of them wider than 1,000 pixels. Fine for a thumbnail, not for a site selling a product people buy with their eyes.

GOOD NEWS

The logo was vector

The real logo turned out to be a vector file, so the brand mark scales cleanly from favicon to trailer wrap. That gave the new design a solid anchor while photography gets reshot.

02
WHAT WE BUILT

The Trophy Room.

The design direction treats every pit like a trophy on a shelf: dark ground, steel, and room to look. The store does three things on purpose.

  • 01
Four models, ordered high to low

The line-up starts with the flagship. Seeing the top model first sets the frame, so the rest of the range reads as sensible rather than expensive. That's anchoring, and it's deliberate.

  • 02
A configurator that adds it up

Pick a model, add options, and the price updates as you go. No "call for quote" dead end.

  • 03
    Freight or pickup, nothing else

These are heavy steel builds. Checkout offers exactly the two ways they actually leave the shop.

STATUS

Awaiting client feedback

The demo site is built and with the client. Next: their notes, new photography to replace the recovered images, and then launch. We'll add results here once there are real ones to report, and the client's name once they say so.

05
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU

Your build, minus the months.

SPEED

Weeks, not quarters

An AI-assisted process gets a full demo in front of you fast, so decisions happen on a real site, not a mood board.

SELLING

Built to sell your way

Pricing logic, options and shipping rules that match how your business actually works.

HONESTY

We say what shipped

Every case study reports what was built and where it stands. Results get added when they're real.
